Hi, My name is Christina McCollom. This will be my third year teaching at Choteau Elementary, and my 11th year teaching in an elementary classroom. I received my Bachelor of Science from Montana State, Go Bobcats, in 1993. I started my career in Bozeman teaching 2nd grade at Hawthorne Elementary. Then became engaged and married to Brian. We moved to Choteau in 1995 and I was hired at Bynum Elementary and taught third, fourth, and Kindergarten for 3 years. At that time we had our first baby and I took a year off to be home with him. My husband Brian decided to change careers and join the optometry field so we moved west to the Portland area for the next 4 years. While there I taught first grade at a parochial private school. We then had our daughter Abby and I stayed home to be with her and Gavin. We moved back to Choteau and we bought the Eye clinic here and in Fairfield. I was fortunate to join the Choteau Elementary staff in 2006. I have been teaching third grade the past 2 years and have been asked to teach second grade this year. I am very much looking forward to teaching second grade. I am excited about our new teaching joining me in second grade, Mrs. Elizabeth Jorden. I think we will work well with each other and complement the curriculum. I have an open door policy and welcome you at any time. Please email or call me anytime with questions or concerns.
