MUSIC NOTES:     

APRIL MUSIC NOTES

April and May are surely two of the busiest months for the Choteau music department. Our upcoming events feature:

• April 17-18 – High School District Music Festival in Great Falls. A complete schedule of places and times is listed below.
• April 22 – Junior High Mass Choir in Great Falls at Holy Spirit. The day will be spent at the St’s. Peter and Paul Church. Concert is set for 6:30 p.m.
• April 29 – Post Festival High School Concert in the Choteau auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $2 for students, $3 for adults or by activity ticket.
• May 2-3 – High School State Music Festival in Helena.
• May 13 – Grades 6-8 Mass Band in Conrad. Concert will be held at 6:30 p.m.
• May 15 – High School Pops Concert at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $2 for students, $3 for adults or by activity ticket.
• May 19 – Grades 5-8 Band/Choir Spring Concert at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

If parents are interested in chaperoning any of our out of town trips, please contact Mrs. Depner. It is always nice to have a couple of adults when taking a large group and it is fun to hear the progress made by the student performers during the course of the day! Hope you will consider this opportunity.
